  • Whisk the sauce well – When making the white sauce, add milk slowly while whisking to avoid lumps.
  • Use fresh mozzarella – It melts beautifully and gives that perfect cheesy pull.
  • Preheat the oven properly – A super hot oven ensures a crispy base and bubbly cheese!
  • Layer the sauces – Spread both pizza sauce and Alfredo sauce for the best flavour combo.
  • Don’t overbake – Don’t overbake and keep an eye on it. A few minutes under the broiler gives the perfect golden top. Let the dough rest and be patient. Giving it enough time to rise creates a soft, airy texture with the perfect chew.

How to make Easy Alfredo Pizza?

Step 1: Activate the Yeast

Start by adding instant yeast, one teaspoon of sugar, and 100 millilitres of lukewarm water to a bowl. Mix everything well, and then let it sit for five to ten minutes. During this time, the mixture will become bubbly and foamy, which is a clear sign that your yeast is active and ready to help the dough rise beautifully.

Step 2: Prepare the Dough

In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and the remaining sugar. Next, add the yeast mixture, the remaining lukewarm water, and the oil. Begin kneading the dough for three to five minutes until it comes together. If it feels a little sticky, do not worry because it will firm up as it rests. Finally, cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest in a warm place for twenty minutes to allow it to rise.

Step 3: Slap & Fold the Dough

After twenty minutes, uncover the dough and gently punch out the air. Place it on a floured surface and fold it a few times to develop the texture. Then cover it again and let it rest for another twenty minutes.

Step 4: Repeat the Process

After the second twenty-minute rest, repeat the slap and fold process. Cover the dough and let it rest for another twenty minutes. After the final resting period, do one last slap and fold to finish developing the dough.

Step 5: Final Dough Resting

Now, cover the dough again and let it rest for 1.5 to 2 hours or until it doubles in size. This final proofing step is what makes the dough super soft and airy!

Step 6: Divide & Shape the Dough

Once the dough has doubled in size, punch out the air and cut it into two equal portions. Shape each portion into a tight dough ball. Place the dough balls on a floured tray, cover them, and let them rest for ten minutes while you preheat your oven to the maximum temperature or turn on the broiler function.

Step 7: Make the Sauce Base

In a pan, melt the butter and sauté the garlic if you are using it. Then add the flour and whisk continuously until it forms a smooth paste.

Step 8: Add Milk & Seasonings

Turn off the stove and slowly add the milk while whisking to prevent lumps. Turn the heat back to medium and continue stirring until the sauce thickens. Add black pepper, chili flakes, salt, oregano, and parsley. Once the sauce is creamy and smooth, remove it from the heat.

Step 9: Stretch the Dough

Take a dough ball and stretch it out using your hands to form a pizza base. Spread a layer of pizza sauce, followed by a generous amount of white Alfredo sauce.

Step 10: Add Toppings

Add the chicken if you are using it, making sure it has been cooked with black pepper, salt, chili sauce, and smoked paprika. Drizzle more white sauce on top for extra creaminess and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over everything.

Step 11: Bake the Pizza

Place the pizza on the top rack under the broiler for three to four minutes. Then move it to the lowest rack, set the oven to the maximum temperature with both top and bottom heat, and cook until it is golden and bubbly.
