Frequently asked questions for Cheesy Potato Puffs.

Why didn’t my puffs turn out flaky?
If your puffs didn’t turn out flaky, make sure you’re using cold puff pastry. Warm pastry softens too much and won’t puff up properly. Also, avoid rolling it out too thin, as this can prevent the layers from forming properly.

How do I know when they’re done?
The puffs should be golden brown and crispy on top. The pastry should be fully cooked, and the filling hot. If the bottoms look pale, bake for a couple more minutes.

How should I store Cheesy Potato Puffs?
Once cooled completely, store the baked potato puffs in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They stay fresh for up to 2–3 days. To bring back their crispiness, reheat them in a preheated oven or air fryer for a few minutes. Avoid microwaving, as it can make the pastry soft and soggy.

Can I store them at room temperature?
It’s best not to leave these puffs at room temperature for long, especially because of the potato and cheese filling. If needed, they can sit out for 2–3 hours when serving, but refrigeration is recommended for storage.

Can I freeze Cheesy Potato Puffs?
Yes, these puffs freeze very well. You can freeze them before or after baking.
